Excerpt from my upcoming book: “The Truth of the Light"
Why do bad things happen to good people is at first glance a judgment. The polarity of good and bad is a judgment. The truth is there is only ‘what is’. Judgment becomes our interpretation of ‘what is’. It is exclusive to man and it is relative. That is to say it only exist in the mind of man. God does not see as man sees. In all things God has a purpose that man does not perceive. Man places a judgment of ‘good and bad’ where God does not for God’s has only one purpose and that is Love. In God, all things work together for this end. However, to follow this mental construct of man, God allows bad things to happen to good people because He says yes to what we say yes to and He says no to what we say no to. Jesus said:
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (Mtw 18:18)
It is because of our acceptance of bad things happening to good people that God says yes to what we say yes to. In other words it is as much our passivity, insensitivity, inertia, etc; to what we see, and therefore our acceptance of it, that creates and nurtures the atmosphere and environment for it’s continuance. God simply looses what man looses. If man would resolve to bind these things in the earth, absent of judgment, God will bind them in heaven.
The first principle of ALL creation and therefore change is: ‘As Within, So Without’. In contrast to the light of love that is our true-self it is the collective unconsciousness of man’s resistance and attack against the light that he is that manifests as man’s inhumanity to man. In other words it is the absence and diminished love for our self, projected outward, that has given rise to much of the violence we see. Life is just reflecting man back to himself. What we call life is nothing more than the mirror of our inner existence. Seen in this vein what we call bad things happening to good people is nothing more than God revealing to man what he has been creating, what he has been loosing. It’s purpose has come to help man to see differently, to make a different choice, so he can began again to create what is ‘like God’. Sandy Hook, Boston Marathon, 9/11 are all the projection of a collectively unconscious society at war with itself and they have come for the purpose of a course correction as they challenge man to come together in a spirit of unity, examine one’s own life, and serve a purpose of helping man return to his true-self......return to love.
While man asks the question ‘why does God allow bad things happen to good people?’ God asks the question ‘Why do you?’ Nevertheless, inherent in the very things we have allowed is a of seed awakening that will spring forth to awaken man from the dream of what he has unconsciously been creating. A seed that shall grow to reveal the greater truth of the interconnectedness of all men and challenge man to make different choices. This will be that which helps him to return to love....which is his true-self.....which is God.
